Victor Rugani, beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 88. Victor was born in the Bronx, NY, served in the Army during peacetime and spent his career as a Credit Manager for various publishing companies. In the beginning of his career, while working at Women’s Wear Daily, he met and fell in love with Evelyn White. They were married for 24 years until her untimely passing in 1986.

While he achieved much professional success, his most proud accomplishment was the family he created with Evelyn. He is survived by his 3 beloved children, Ellen Duffy, Jeanine Rugani, and Janet Terry, his son-in laws Kenny Sedlacik and Jason Terry, his grandchildren Joseph Duffy, Bonnie Duffy, Kristen Duffy, Cassandra Cruz, Kaitlyn Duffy, Alicia Duffy, Dylan Terry and Ella Terry and great grandson Cooper Duffy. He is predeceased by his granddaughter Megan Duffy.

Victor’s life was one marked by generosity and he will be remembered mostly for his thoughtfulness.

A funeral mass will be held in his honor on Monday, August 3, 2026 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 114 Mt. Vernon Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ, at 11:00 a.m.
