Thelma Ingwersen

Ingwersen, Thelma V. ( Nee Filippone) age 80 of Toms River formerly of Clifton passed away surrounded by her family on September 4, 2018. She retired as a secretary from the Clifton Board of Education where she worked for 25 years. Thelma was an active member at the Lake Ridge Community in Toms River, she was a member of the Bowing Club, Italian Club, Mah-Jong Club and the Proof Reader for the Lake Paper. Beloved wife of Kurt . Devoted mother to John , Ken and his wife Suzanne. Cherished grandmother to Christina, Tyler, Justin, Kirsten and Megan. Dear sister to Richard Filippone and his wife Linda. Thelma is also survived by her nieces and nephews Christine, Katharine, Donald, Richard, Amy, Eric and Scott. Funeral from Shook Funeral Home 639 Van Houten Ave. Clifton at 8:45am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Andrews RC Church at 10am. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
