Teresa Rodriguez

Teresa Rodriguez, age 85, of Bogota, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 surrounded by her loving nieces and nephews. Born in Santiago, Cuba, to the late America (nee Mendez) Rodriguez and the late Arquimedes Rodriguez, Teresa was a cherished aunt, endeared friend, and a passionate traveler who explored the world with an adventurous spirit.

In her professional life, Teresa served as a Payroll Manager for many years at EmblemHealth in New York, where her dedication and attention to detail were well appreciated.

Family meant everything to her, and she was known for her warm heart and unwavering support. She was the beloved aunt of Barbara Serrano and her husband Jorge, Rosy Rodriguez and her husband Brenden, and America Soriano and her husband Adrian and proud great aunt of, Jorge Jr., Priscilla, James Cirillo, James, Grace, Alexandra, and Andrew. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Eduardo and Miguel Rodriguez.

A woman who could always be counted on, Teresa’s kindness and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her loving spirit and joyful presence.

A Memorial Mass in Teresa’s honor will be held on Friday, October 10th, beginning at 10 A.M at St. Joseph R.C. Church, Bogota.
