Suzanne O'Keefe

Suzanne M. (nee Dodd) O’Keefe, of Toms River, formerly of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 58. Suzanne was born in Westwood, NJ to the late Carol (nee Meixell) Dodd and the late Stephen Dodd. She was the beloved wife of James O’Keefe, a devoted mother to Shane O’Keefe, and an endeared sister to Stacy Furey, Kevin Dodd, and Stephen “Roach” Dodd. Suzanne’s warmth extended beyond her family to her adorable dogs Mustard, and her late dog Ketchup, who remains forever in her heart. A true Giants fan, Suzanne’s zest for life was evident in every adventure she embraced. She relished dinners with friends, the thrill of motorcycles, and the serenity of fishing. Suzanne’s kindness and genuine spirit made her a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her.  For many years, Suzanne served as an Office Manager at NJ Office Systems in Cranberry, where her dedication and kindness touched many lives.  Suzanne’s family will honor her memory by scattering her cremains in the places she loved most, reflecting the joy and peace she found in those special spots. Though Suzanne’s journey has ended, her legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2026 at Island Beach State Park in honor of Suzanne
