Susan Bernard

Susan “Sue” (nee Linardi) Bernard, longtime resident of Little Ferry, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the age of 60 years surrounded by her family. Sue was born in Englewood and spent her early life growing up in Edgewater. She has resided in Little Ferry for the last 40 years. Working as a licensed practical nurse for the assisted living facility Chestnut Hill Residences by Complete Care in Passaic. She was generous, good natured, creative, passionate, talented, loved to cook, tell stories, and make crafts. Beloved daughter of the late Margarite (nee Ford) and Joseph Linardi. Devoted wife for 36 years of Bob Bernard. Loving mother of Dawn Bernard and her husband Chris Gannon, and Joseph Bernard. Cherished Nana of Thomas Gannon. Dearest sister of Jean, Amy, Janet, Nancy, Julie, and Joe. Cremation is private. The celebration of life will be held at a later date.
