Sophie Sokol

Sokol, Sophie (nee Liszewski) age 85 of Ridgefield Park passed away on June 17, 2016. She retired as a meat wrapper for Shop Rite in Rochelle Park and was a member of the Saddle Brook Seniors, AARP and a parishioner of St. Francis RC Church in Ridgefield Park. Sophie is predeceased by her husband Raymond. Devoted mother to Paul and his wife Karen, Thomas, William Kim Carroll and her daughter-in-law Janet Sokol. Loving grandmother to Michael, Ryan, Jeffrey, Shannon and Jaclyn. Dear sister to Steve Liszewski and his wife Ginny, Stas Liszewski and his wife Jean and the late Alex and Hedy. Sophie will also be missed by her many close friends. Funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home 59 Main St. Ridgefield Park on Tuesday at 9:30am. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis RC Church, Ridgefield Park at 10am. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visitation Monday 4-8pm.
