Sally Robertson

Sally Robertson, 86, of New York City, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2023. She was the endeared daughter of the late Jane Howard and Anthony Robertson. Sally was an English instructor and graduated at an English as a Second Language School in Colombia, South America. She had her own language academy and taught English to CEO’S from different important companies in Colombia. Her other line of work was with adult accompaniment and healthcare for the elderly, here in the USA. She started a family very young and leaving her former life behind and never knowing about it or looking back again. Her husband, died about 30 years ago. She is survived by her daughters Claudia and Patricia, and, her grandchildren Jane, Guillermo, and Danny, David and her great granddaughters, Hayden and Michaela. Her older son Danny, who was a lawyer, passed in a car accident in Colombia. This event saddened her greatly. She gave her family everything. She was not always perfect, but her children had it all. She loved good food, good wine, and had heck of sweet tooth to the very end. She had no filter when she spoke. She was funny and always knew how to dress well for every occasion. She was critically honest in every aspect. People who knew her remember her as a strong woman, a force of nature, for whom both of her daughters inherited a lot of her traits. Her distinctive independence of spirit and her strong faith in God, will be remembered, her playful and sometimes dry sense of humor that made us laugh as well! She lived and loved life to the fullest despite any obstacles in her life. Her legacy will live forever in every one of her children and grandchildren. Even though she is not with us anymore, she will be here in spirit and will always remember her and not be saddened by her death because she is now at peace and in God’s care

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 9th, beginning at 4 PM and concluding at 8 PM. Funeral Service will be offered on Wednesday evening beginning at 5 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, Ridgefield Park. Cremation Private.
