Robert L Sihlanick

Robert L. Sihlanick, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the age of 92.  Born in Logansport, PA, youngest of eleven children, to the late Anna (nee Telesco) Sihlanick and the late Michael Sihlanick, Robert was a lifelong resident of Little Ferry, where he made an indelible mark on everyone he met.

He was the devoted husband to the late Dolores (nee Klingensmith) Sihlanick and the cherished father of Anna Gaskins (Paul), Robert K. Sihlanick (Theresa), Laura Ryan (Joe), Karen Conti (Joe), Edana Totaro (Dominick), Barbara Sihlanick, and Louis Sihlanick (Patty).  His legacy continues through his 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews, who were the greatest joy of his life.

A veteran of the United States Airforce, Robert served his country with honor and pride.  He later worked as a Computer Processing Manager at Stewart Data, NY, a role that showcased his dedication and expertise in the world of communications.  Robert was a true outdoorsman, whose passion for hunting and fishing was only rivaled by his love for his family.  He was an esteemed member of the Ridgefield Park Elks #1506, The American Legion in Little Ferry, the UBNJ, and the NRA.

His spirit will forever resonate in the heart of the community he loved so dearly.  In his passing, we celebrate a life well lived, full of love, laughter, and unforgettable adventures.
