Patricia (née Wiecenski) Iarkowski, 83, of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. She was born in Somerville, NJ, to the late Peter and Mary Ann (née Dube) Wiecenski.

Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Frank Mark Iarkowski. She was the devoted mother of Lisa, Mark, and Dean and his wife, Kimberly, and the cherished grandmother of David and Kristen.

For many years, Patricia worked as a legal secretary, bringing diligence, care, and quiet dedication to her work. Later, she went into business for herself, preparing court transcripts.

Kind and loving, with a wonderful sense of humor that could always bring a smile to those around her, Patricia found her greatest happiness in life’s simple joys, above all in time spent with her family. She shared an especially close bond with her grandchildren, who filled her life with love and pride.

Patricia was an avid reader who especially enjoyed a good mystery. She loved tending her flowers and plants, took particular delight in butterflies, and was a devoted fan of George Strait, whose music she enjoyed for many years.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
