Michael J. Nunziato, a lifelong resident of Little Ferry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the age of 90.

Michael was the beloved husband of the late Josephine (nee Cervati) Nunziato, devoted father of Donna, Michael, Mark and Robert. He cherished his family, including eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Michael spent many years as a Truck Driver for Yellow Freight Company. He was a proud member of the Little Ferry Fire Department, serving over 50 years. Michael led with honor, becoming Fire Chief in 1984, Fire Chief Captain in 1972, and Hose Company President in 1984.

Michael was a devoted family man whose kindness, strength, and unwavering dedication to those he loved will be remembered by all who knew him. He lived a life marked by hard work, integrity, and a deep appreciation for family, friends, and community.

A Visitation in Michael’s honor will be held on Sunday, June 14th, beginning at 2 P.M. and concluding at 7 P.M. Cremation will be private
