Michael Patrick Bourgeais

Michael Patrick Bourgeais, of Moonachie, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the age of 45 years. Michael worked for SimplexGrinnell in the Local Pipefitters Union. Michael was very active in the Sons of The American Legion serving as commander for many years. He loved his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and camping. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Beloved son of Eileen (nee Darragh) and the late Ronald Edward Bourgeais. Loving husband of Maria Diaz. Devoted father of Jessica Wagner and her husband Ian, Mikey Bourgeais, and Allison Diaz. Adoring grandfather of Jayden. Cherished brother of Ronald Bourgeais and his wife Josephine, and Tricia Scheuer and her husband Derek. Dearest uncle of Damian, Angelica, Ian, Daniella, and Alexandra. Cremation is private. A celebration of Michael’s life will be planned at a later date.
