Marion Chumbley

Marion E. Chumbley, 90, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 2, 2016. Born and raised in New York City, Marion lived in Ridgefield Park, NJ for 52 years before moving to Missouri Valley, Iowa in 2011. Marion dedicated her life to loving her family and pets. She will be greatly missed. Marion is predeceased by her parents John F. and Daisy M. McCormack, her twin sister Dorothy L. McCormack, and her husband of 58 years Leonard H. Chumbley. She is survived by her son John Chumbley of Bangor, Pa. and his partner Mary Winkler, her daughters Dorothy Otero of Rahway, NJ and her husband Dan, Marion L. Chumbley of Missouri Valley, Ia., and Patricia Chumbley of Missouri Valley, Ia.; and grandchildren Alyssa Pecht and her husband Matthew, and Joshua Bodtke. Visitation will be at Vorhees-Ingwerson Funeral Home, 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ on Wednesday, September 7th from 4-7PM. Funeral will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, September 8th at Voorhees, with internment at George Washington Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
