Maddalena Competiello

Maddalena Competiello, of Hackensack, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Born in Sant' Angelo dei Lombardi, Italy. She worked as a seamstress for over 35 years at Goldberg Slipper Factory in Hackensack. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Hackensack and a former member of the Padre Pio prayer group. Her fondest moments were spent sitting at a table with anyone to share a laugh. Beloved wife of the late Gaetano Competiello. Devoted mother of Frank Competiello & his wife Paulette and Tony Competiello & his wife Daniela. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Michael, Daniel, Jessica, and Julia. Loving sister of Emilio and the late Carmine, Victor, Pietro, and Michele. Funeral services and entombment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Hackensack are private.
