Lorraine was born in Brooklyn, NY to Robert and Connie Dudzinski on September 27, 1962. She went to high school in Ridgefield Park and went on to earn a Bachelors Degree from William Paterson University. She worked as an Application Development Manager for UPS for 37 years before retiring 2 years ago.
Lorraine was an avid golfer who played with the EWGA/LPGAA league in Paramus for over 20 years with her "Golf Gang". She never stopped striving to improve her game and was quick to give compliments, tips, and be everyone's biggest cheerleader. She even achieved a hole in one.
She adored her family and she could often be heard talking about her 8 nieces & nephews with love and pride. She was always up for an adventure. Lorraine had a wicked sense of humor, boundless intelligence, and determination. She was an expert at solving math equations and logic puzzles and found a way to achieve anything she wanted to do. Amongst her many talents she played the drums, participated in a softball league, snowboarded, earned a pilots license, a boating license, and was a master of DIY projects.
Lorraine is survived by her mother Connie Dudzinski of Little Ferry, NJ, partner Ivonne Perez of Mahwah, NJ, and her loving family, her siblings Robert Dudzinski (Teresa) of Westfield, NJ, Christine Matuszewski (John) of Hillsdale NJ, Adrienne Marciniak (Jeff) of Paramus, NJ, and her adored nieces & nephews Jake, Justin, Miranda, Rose, Cole, Jeremy, Noelle and Kalista.
She is preceded in death by her father Robert Dudzinski.
Our hearts are shattered by the sudden loss of our beloved Lorraine. The depth of our grief is beyond words and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled. She had a positive impact on everyone she met- always giving, endlessly patient, and unfailingly kind As a family, we will never be the same without her light, her laughter, and her love. It is our hope that we can continue to make her proud and live up to the extraordinary example she set.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your favorite charity.
