Linda Howe

Linda T. Howe (nee Landgraff) 80, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024 at Complete Care, Toms River, NJ. Born in Hackensack, NJ she lived most of her life in Bergen County, NJ before meeting the love of her life Chester Howe. They enjoyed 36 years of a wonderful marriage. Linda was a devoted and loving Mother and extremely proud of her Children.

Linda worked at various multi-national Corporations as a receptionist throughout her Career before her Retirement. Linda was an active member of the community and proudly served as a past President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 809 of Little Ferry, NJ. She enjoyed volunteering and working with friends. Upon retirement she and Chester moved to the Jersey Shore, a place that she loved. She enjoyed walks on the boardwalk and winning her Stuffy’s (teddy bears). Linda so loved traveling with her husband to the many Islands and many Cruises. Linda enjoyed watching game shows and her word find Puzzles. She was always ready for a party, if an Elvis song came on look out, she was his biggest fan.

Linda is predeceased by her parents Edward and Marie Landgraff, and her loving Husband Chester Howe, and her sweet fur baby Muffin. She is survived by her loving family, Son Christopher, and wife Deborah of Edison. Daughter Lisa of Little Ferry. Grandchildren Nicholas Ciccone III of Woodbridge and Amanda Husko of Edison. Great-grandchildren Nicholas Louis Ciccone IIII and Callie Jean Husko and her lifelong best friend Ann Barger.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 23, 2024, from 4pm to 8pm at Vorhees-Ingwersen Funeral Home, 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park, NJ. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday February 24, 2024 10:30am. Interment will be held at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
