Kathleen T Harmon

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we gather to pay tribute to Kathleen T. Harmon, 81, beloved and devoted wife to William F. Harmon for 64 years.

Bill and Kathy married in 1961 at the age of 17, and had four children by 1965 at the age of 21. Kathy was a devout and loving mother to Lori, William, Robert, Thomas, as well as our spouses and significant others, Gary (d 2018), Barbara, Jo-Ellen, and Sandra respectively, and a cherished grandmother to Michael, Stephanie, Daniel, Danielle, Leah, Cody, Jonathan, and Ciara. We are also blessed with an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as decades-long friendships.

Born in New York City on September 8,1943 to Hugh and Josephine Freyer, she grew up in the city and met Bill in 1960. They married in 1961 and moved to Hudson Avenue in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey in 1974 and lived in RP for the next 47 years. They spent 45 of those years in their home purchased on Christie Street until moving to Brick Township in 2021.

We are as close as a family can be and we owe it all to her. Her generous heart and gentle spirit was a source of strength and comfort to our whole family. The memories of her love, devotion, and kindness will always live in our hearts.

A Private Visitation will be held in her honor.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks remembrances in her honor be made by donating to your local blood bank or contributing to a hospice organization of your choice.
