Judith M. (nee Pinto) Bigelow, a beloved resident of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the age of 78. Born in Englewood, NJ to the late Margaret (nee Popowitz) Bigelow and the late Michael Pinto. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Pinto, devoted mother of Jennifer Bigelow O’Connor and her husband Michael, Meghan Reed and her husband Bruce, Adam Bigelow and his wife Ciarra, and the late Charles Bigelow. The greatest joy in her life were her cherished grandchildren Brandon, Emily, Molly, and Sean. She is also survived by her endeared brothers Michael and Edward Pinto.
A faithful parishioner of St. Francis Church, Judith served as a Eucharistic Minister, touching countless lives with her compassion and warmth. She was a passionate Yankees fan, a Bingo enthusiast, and loved nothing more than sharing delicious meals with friends and making memories with her grandchildren.
In her role as a Customer Service Representative at Overpeck Golf Course, Judith was known for her kindness and dedication, bringing a bright smile to all she encountered. Judith found joy in the sun and surf of Asbury Park and had a keen eye for shopping, always seeking out treasures. Above all, Judith cherished spending quality time with her family, finding peace in their company. She truly embraced life and brought light to everyone around her, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A Visitation in Judith’s honor will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd, beginning at 4 P.M. and concluding at 8 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 24th, 9:30 A.M. at St. Francis R.C. Church. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
