Jose Cabanita

Jose Viegas Cabanita, of Ridgefield Park, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Born in Portugal, Jose immigrated to the United States in 1961 where he settled in New York City. He worked as a superintendent of apartments in the Rego Park section of Queens, NY. Beloved husband of Ruth ( Quintero) Cabanita. Loving father of Jose V. Cabanita and his wife Jannette. Cherished grandfather of Joseph and Olivia Cabanita. Dearest brother of Maria DaCruz. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 19th at 7:30pm. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8PM. Cremation will be private.
