Johanna "Jo" Maio

Johanna "Jo" (nee Neuschwanter) Maio, longtime resident of Ridgefield Park, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the age of 81 years. Kind and compassionate, Johanna would always help anyone in need. Her favorite moments were spent traveling and family vacations at Wildwood Crest. Prior to retiring Johanna worked as a bookkeeper for Seam Craft in Hoboken. Member of the Ridgefield Park Seniors. Parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Ridgefield Park. Beloved wife of the late Dominick Maio who passed away in 2020. Devoted mother of Dominick and his wife JoAnn, Joseph and his wife Karen, Perry and his wife Michele, and Michele and her husband Michael. Loving grandmother of John, Alyss, Jessica, Joseph, Amelia, Emily, Katarina, Dominick, Perry, and Britany. Cherished great grandmother of ten great grandchildren. Dear sister to Joseph Niece his wife Terri and Linda Donato. Johanna is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 5th at 9AM. The Funeral Mass will be offered 9:30AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. Interment Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4PM to 8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Johanna’s memory may be made to St. Jude Hospital or the St Francis of Assisi Food Pantry.
