Black, Jane M. (nee Tompkins) age 88, of Ridgefield Park, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022. She was a librarian at the Ridgefield Park Library for many years. Beloved wife to the late Edward Black. Devoted mother to Mary Jean Scerra and her husband Thomas, Patty Jones, Eddie Black and his wife Diana, Susan Black, Catherine Jacob and her husband Lou, Billy Black and his wife Gabriella, Regina Black and Kathy Griffin. Loving grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Dear sister to Patricia Smith. Funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Monday March 14th at 10:30am. The funeral mass will be offered at St. Francis RC Church Ridgefield Park at 11am. Visitation Sunday 2-5pm. Interment will be private.
