Hugh Justin McManus, 87, of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, born in Teaneck, NJ, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the beloved son of the late Mabel J. (Carlson) and Charles J. McManus, beloved brother to the late Charles J. McManus, beloved husband to the late Judith McManus.

He was an Administrative Supervisor of Income Maintenance for the County of Bergen for over 25 years in Hackensack, NJ.

Hugh Graduated from St. Peters Prep, Jersey City and Seton Hall University, South Orange, NJ.

He was a proud member of the Ridgefield Park Baseball Association. He continued his lifelong commitment to service as a dedicated member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Ridgefield Park. He was also a member of the Ridgefield Park Knights of Columbus Council No. 2229. Hugh was an avid Yankees fan.

He is survived by his goddaughter Jodi (Culmone) Quinlan, Loving friend as well as past co-worker’s Adina Yacoub and Rich Preissler. Beloved, cousin, and friends too many.

Hugh will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Visitation in Hugh’s honor will be held on Tuesday, December 9th, beginning at 9 am @ Voorhees-Ingwersen 59 Main Street, Ridgefield Park, a mass will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Ridgefield Park and burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hackensack, NJ.
