Helena (nee Dagil) Paszul, of Saddle Brook, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the age of 95. Born in Poland to the late Anna (nee Dembia) Dagil and the late Adam Dagil, Helena was the cherished wife of the late Bolleslaw Paszul, and the loving mother of her son the late Tad Paszul, whose memory was a source of both joy and strength. Helena is also survived by her dear niece Lisa Alvarez and her husband, Valentin, and is predeceased by her niece Donna Di Carlo and nephew John Okunowicz.
Helena dedicated many years of her life as a Sewing Machine Operator at Teterboro Airport, where she crafted airplane seats with precise skill and creativity. In her retirement, Helena found peace in her faith and in the company of family and friends. A devout parishioner of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, her life was deeply rooted in religion and the warmth of her community.
Helena’s legacy of love, faith, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
A Visitation in Helena’s honor will be held on Monday, November 17th, beginning at 9 A.M. and concluding at 11 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 A.M. at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Hackensack. Helena will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
