George Louis Stager

On Saturday, March 18, 2023, George Louis Stager entered into eternal rest. George was born on June 20, 1926 and lived most of his life in Union City before relocating to Moonachie, NJ.

George enjoyed crabbing and fishing for many years. When he retired, he became an avid gardener growing various flowers and vegetables in is yard.

George was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Gloria Stager, his son Edward Stager and his grandson Jason Rose. He was also preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters.

He survived by his son, George, Jr. and his wife Sue, daughter Diane and husband Noel Cote, daughter Maggie Rose, and daughter Barbara and husband Ralph Guillen.

He also leaves behind Twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and new found friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 beginning at 4 P.M. and concluding at 8 P.M. with a Service at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge on Thursday March 23, 2023.
