Gary Brown

Gary Brown, of Byram Township, formerly of Ridgefield Park, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the age of 68 years. Gary was born in Hackensack and spent much of his life growing up in northern New Jersey. Gary was a selfless person who cared more for others than himself. A self-employed electrician who donated much of his time to St. Cecilia’s R.C. Church in Englewood for over 20 years. Whether it was for a school play or church function Gary was always busy working around the church. He was a kind-hearted soul that enjoyed being able to help as many people as he could. Beloved partner and soul mate of Yvonne Romeo for 27 years. Loving brother of Bob Brown, Jay Brown, and Ward Cleveland. Devoted step-father of Chalena Marcelin, Joseph Romeo Jr., and Andarra Romeo. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Williamson, Joseph Romeo III, Laylah Romeo, and Yamira Romeo. Adoring uncle of Sheri Groover and Jayson Brown. Visitation will be held at Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 21st from 4PM to 8PM with a funeral service at 7:30PM. Cremation is private.
