Gabrielle Fischer

Gabrielle (nee Gallow) Fischer, of Hackensack, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 35. Born in Hackensack, NJ to the late Susan Turkowsky and the late Stephen Gallow, Gabrielle was a radiant soul whose presence lit up every room. She was the beloved wife of the late Mark Fischer and leaves behind her cherished partner Rob Akers. Gabrielle is also survived by her loving grandmother, as well as her devoted aunts, uncles, endeared cousins, stepbrother, and a wide circle of friends. She is predeceased by her grandfather and maternal grandparents.

A true free spirit, Gabrielle lived life on her own terms. She possessed an unshakable strength, facing life’s challenges with resilience. Gabrielle found immense joy in music, lost herself in pages of books, and had a profound love for animals. Her passion for carpentry, especially working alongside her father, brought her peace and purpose. Gabrielle’s warmth, creativity, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Visitation in Gabrielle’s honor will be held on Friday, October 17th, beginning at 9 A.M. and concluding at 11 A.M. She will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that donations in Gabrielle's memory be made to the Teterboro Animal Shelter.
