Martinez, Ernesto. Passed away April 9, 2021 with daughter, Carmela at his side. Born January 29, 1939 in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico. Predeceased by parents, Ana Hernandez and Juan Martinez and brother, Juan Martinez. Ernest retired as a maintenance supervisor in Fort Lee, NJ. Survived by his heartbroken daughter, Carmela Martinez. Father to Susan Martinez-Pappalardo, Debra and husband, Curtis Casey, Ernest (Bill) Martinez and significant other, Ingrid Abad. Grandchildren, Angela and Andrew Pappalardo, Montanna and Dakota Casey, Ethan and Dylan Felter. Survived by his loving brother, Edwin and wife, Maria Martinez and sister, Aida Ortiz. Survived by his Godson, Gabriel Martinez and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by Andrea Abad. Ernest was predeceased by his devoted “partner”, Eleanor of 60 years just 6 months ago. Adhering to Ernesto’s wishes, a brief private ceremony will take place on April 19, 2021, Vorhees-Ingwersen Funeral Home in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Burial to take place on April 21st at George Washington Memorial Park Paramus, NJ at 1:30PM. A celebration of life will take place in honor of Ernest in the immediate future.
