Edwin G. Hillermeier, 80, son of the late William Hillermeier and the late Joan (nee Heath) Hahn, husband of the late Dale L. (nee Merrick) Hillermeier. Brother of William K. Hillermeier and the late Eileen, Robert J. Hillermeier and Christina, and Betty Latour and Tim.

Ed was born in Hackensack and spent most of his life in Ridgefield Park. He was a 50-year member of the Ridgefield Park Elks and was the ER in 2005 and continued on becoming a PDD in 2012-2013. He then continued as lodge secretary and treasurer from 2016-2017. He also served as a volunteer fireman in town. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th, beginning at 2 P.M. and concluding at 4 P.M.  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations in Edwin's name be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org/donate or P.O.
