Dominick J Colello

Dominick J. Colello, age 95, of Ridgefield Park, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey he was the beloved son of the late Giuseppina (nee Imondi) Colello and the late Ermelindo Colello. Devoted husband of 67 blissful years to the late Gloria (nee Mossuto) Colello. Cherished father of Donna C. Cook and Sandra Melone and her husband Dennis. The greatest joy in his life was his adoring grandchildren Trentino, Ava, and great grandson Liam. He is survived by his sister, Rose Ann Cusanelli, and predeceased by his brother, Mario Colello. President at Palisade Savings Bank, known for his tireless work ethic. He found solace on the golf course and was a faithful parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church. Dominick was an accomplished professional musician, excelling in saxophone and clarinet with various up and coming bands and orchestras. He deeply valued his service as a veteran of the United States Army and took great pride in serving his country. Dominick will be deeply missed by his family and friends, remembered

A Visitation in Dominick’s honor will be held on Monday, January 26th, beginning at 4 P.M. and concluding at 7 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 27th, 10 A.M. at St. Francis R.C. Church, Ridgefield Park. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
