Daniel Palmadessa

December 14, 1933 — April 22, 2025

Daniel Palmadessa, age 91, of Little Ferry, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, leaving behind a legacy forged through years of hard work, resilience, and an unshakable love for his family.  Born on December 14, 1933, in Manhattan, NY, to the late Lucille and the late William Palmadessa, Daniel’s story is one of grit and determination-a story of a man who built a life from the ground up, one unwavering step at a time.

Daniel’s early years were shaped by the hard labor and sacrifice of his father.  He began his career delivering ice to restaurants and theatres before air conditioning was even a thought, learning the value of sweat and dedication at an early age.  His nights were spent working as a Waiter, where he learned the art of service and discipline.  But it was alongside his brothers, John and Mike, that Daniel found his true calling.  Together, they founded Red Ball Interior Demolition, a company that would define their lives.  There Daniel’s work ethic became legendary.  He was not just a businessman; he was a force of nature.  He led with an iron will, and his commitment to his craft was matched only by the love for those around him.

As a husband to Jacqueline (nee Gambo), Daniel was a rock, a constant source of strength, loyalty, and affection.  Together, they built a life of shared triumphs, and countless memories.  He was the proud father to Donald Palmadessa, Jacqueline Minotti, William Palmadessa and his wife Faith, and Loretta Palmadessa, each of who he raised with love, discipline, and a determination that mirrored his own.  He instilled in them the values of hard work, integrity, and the importance of family.  Daniel was also a grandfather to eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, all of whom knew him as a pillar of love and wisdom.  Predeceased by his brothers and sister, John, Mike, and Rose, Daniel now joins them in eternal rest.  Yet his memory, his strength, and spirit will continue to guide those who knew and loved him.  A man who built his world, his family, and his legacy with nothing but his bare hands, and a heart full of love.

Services to honor his life will be held on Tuesday, April 29th, beginning at 4 P.M. and concluding at 8 P.M., with a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 30th, at 10 A.M. at St. Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church, Little Ferry, Entombment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hackensack.
