Catherine Morrow (nee Cavanaugh), a long-time resident of Ridgefield Park, a cherished soul left us on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 68. Born in the vibrant heart of Brooklyn, New York to the late Louise (nee Griffin) Cavanaugh and the late John Frances Cavanaugh, Catherine was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her. As a devoted fourth grade Teacher in Englewood, she touched countless young lives, igniting their minds with curiosity and wonder. Catherine found immense joy spending time with her grandchildren, often seen at the Ridgefield Park Pool, where her laughter echoed alongside her grandchildren. A faithful parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, a dedicated softball coach, and a Girl Scout Leader Catherine’s spirit was a guiding force in her community. Catherine was the beloved wife of the late William Morrow, a nurturing mother to Michelle Morrow and her husband Breyner Navarro, doting grandmother to Kaylee and Brandon, and cherished sister to Eileen Clune, Carolyn Allegrino, and the late Michael Cavanaugh. Her friendships with Marion, Peggy, and Lecia were a testament to the loyalty and warmth she shared with those she loved. Catherine’s legacy, kindness, and dedication, will forever remain in our hearts. Her spirit will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the beauty in every moment.
