Carlos A Iza

Carlos A. Iza, 97 of Cape Coral, FL (formerly of Jersey City, NJ) passed away peacefully on Monday, August 14th .

Carlos is survived by his children Zoila Horna (Husband Solano), Maria Iza, Ana Iza, Carlos Iza (Johanny Rivera), Nancy Pacheco (Husband Tom), Liticia Rivera, (Husband Edgar) and Jimmy Iza (Wife Liesl). He is also survived by his grandchildren Marjorie Horna, Mario Torres, Luis Villava, Christina Pacheco, Armond Rivera, Yesenia Pineda, Mia Pineda, Charlie Iza and Catalina Iza.

Prior to living in Cape Coral, Carlos lived in Jersey City, where he worked for almost 30 years at Jersey City Medical Center as a housekeeper. After retirement he moved to Cape Coral, FL and was an active member of his parish, St. Andrew Catholic Church He loved cooking, gardening and tending to his fruit trees as well as walking every day even well into his 90’s.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 20th, 2-6 PM Funeral Mass: Monday, August 21st, 10 AM at St. Joseph R.C. Church, Bogota followed by Interment at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack.
