Bruce J. Ruland

Bruce J. Ruland, of Ridgefield Park, passed away with family by his side on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the age of 85 years. Bruce was born and raised in Ridgefield Park. Bruce worked as a truck driver for Knapp Express in Ridgefield Park for many years and then became the property maintenance manager for the Village of Ridgefield Park. Veteran of the United States Army from 1955 through 1957. Beloved husband of Elaine (nee Welsek) Ruland. Devoted father of Kimberly Caporoso and her husband Dino, Scott Ruland and his wife Rebecca, and Michelle Ruland. Cherished grandfather of Kelli, Kristen, and Shane. Loving brother of Richard Ruland and the late Harold Ruland Jr. Visitation will be held at Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Thursday, April 14th from 4PM to 8PM with a prayer service at 7:30PM. Cremation is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce’s memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
