Antoinette Didomenico

Antoinette DiDomenico, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the age of 92. Born March 09, 1927, in New York, NY. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Emilio, parents Torston and Angelina "Lena" Ryman , brother Julius Ryman and best friend Anne Grecco. She was a loving and caring mother to her 7 children and their families: daughter Edith and Kenny Emmets, daughter Angela and Thomas Greaney, daughter Antoinette and Leonardo Pulito, daughter Christina and Lawrence Shellenberger, son James and Rose DiDomenico, daughter Amy DiDomenico, and daughter Carol and Kenneth Lind. She was the proud grandmother to 17 grandchildren and honored to be GIGI to 11 great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed-- on occasion --her 8 furry grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Rose Caldarise, brothers Torsten and Kenneth Ryman. Antoinette was devoted to her family. Of all her many gifts, being at the center of attention is where she shined most. She was always dressed to the 9s and when she walked into a room you knew it! She loved telling funny stories and didn’t hesitate to share her thoughts or opinions especially if something wasn’t her cup of tea.. Always a master multi-tasker, even in her 90’ she loved getting her regular mani/pedi, while on her phone or checking- in with her 75 Facebook friends. And according to her Facebook profile, she loved JustFab, gardening and apparently Italian Grandmas are savage. She also loved garage sales, and doing laundry. And was never one to turn down a road trip to Cape May or an adventure. Above all Mrs D, as she liked to be called, was a larger than life character, who laughed loud, loved large and had an intelligence, and sense of humor that allowed her to enjoy a wonderful life. Funeral from Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6th at 9:30am. The Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Francis RC Church, Ridgefield Park at 10:30am. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8pm.
