Angela Binetti

Angela Binetti (nee Caputo) age 92, of Wayne (formerly of Ridgefield Park), passed away peacefully on July 30, 2023. Angela was predeceased by her loving husband of over 30 years, Giovanni Binetti. She was the devoted mother of John Binetti and his partner Sabrina and Marta Beck and her husband James. The greatest joy in her life were her cherished grandchildren Mariella and Gabriella, and great grandmother of Amelia. Angela is survived by her endeared siblings Anna Schiller and Mario Caputo and predeceased by her brothers Onofrio and Giuseppe Caputo. She was born in Molfetta, Bari, Italy to the late Ida (nee Freda) and Giuseppe Caputo. Angela was very independent and at the age of 35 she left her family behind and immigrated to the United States in search of better opportunities. She worked tirelessly as a Seamstress in the garment district of Hoboken. Her hands were rarely still and loved to embroider and sew intricate designs for bridal gowns and clothing. Angela was a wonderful mother who was always there when you needed her. She was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of her community. Angela was a devoted parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church and active in the Ridgefield Park Senior Center.

Visitation celebrating Angela’s life will be held on Thursday, August 3rd, beginning at 9 AM and concluding with a Catholic Blessing at 11 AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum with her late husband Giovanni.
