Adele Simoni

Simoni, Adele Janet (nee Miele) entered eternal life on May 17, 2018 at the age of 95. She resided in Allendale, NJ at the Allendale Community Nursing Home for the past 2 years. Prior, Adele lived in Ridgefield Park, Whiting and Lakewood NJ. Adele is predeceased by her husband Alfred, son Arthur and brothers Michael, Ralph, a sister Bernice and parents Jeannette and Ralph Miele Sr. Adele worked for Grand Union for many years and was a member of local 1262. She was a volunteer for meals on Wheels, Keswick and a was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the VFW. Adele leaves behind 2 daughters, Linda and her husband Andrew Smykal and Jeannette and her husband Dennis Truncellito. She has several grandchildren, Michael Simoni and Gina Garapic, Keith and Greg Smykal. In addition she has 4 great grandchildren, Victoria, Bella, Maverick and Wyatt. Adele also kept close to her daughter-in-law Nancy Roberts and leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Adele was a wonderful cook and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She won a grand prize issued by “Home Tested Recipes” for her vegetable casserole. Adele was a kind, generous and loving person and appreciated life and those people around her. Her friends, caregivers and family will miss her friendly smile and warmth. Visitation Sunday 2-6pm at Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home 59 Main St. Ridgefield Park.
